About Guitar Lessons
Private & Group Options

Whether you’re a beginner picking up a guitar for the first time—or a parent looking for lessons your child will enjoy—we’ve created a guitar program that meets students where they are and helps them grow with confidence.

At Nieves Music Studio, we offer private lessons in acoustic and electric guitar, as well as small group acoustic guitar lessons.

-
Private Lessons offer focused, one-on-one instruction tailored to the student’s goals, pace, and musical interests.

-
Group Classes are limited to just five students per class. Your child—or you—will learn in a fun, social setting with others at a similar level, while still receiving personalized attention from an experienced teacher.

Our teachers are friendly, skilled, and passionate about helping students develop solid technique while having a great time doing it. Whether the goal is to jam with friends, perform on stage, or just play for fun, we’re here to support that journey.

Benefits of Guitar Lessons
1. One of the Most Fun and Accessible Instruments
The guitar is incredibly approachable—perfect for beginners and rewarding for seasoned players. Whether you're a child just starting out or an adult returning to music, guitar lessons offer a fun and flexible way to grow your skills, with quick wins that keep students motivated.

2. Strengthens Focus and Mental Sharpness
Guitar training improves memory, concentration, and coordination. It sharpens young minds and keeps adult brains active—making it as beneficial for school-aged learners as it is for adults seeking mental clarity.

3. A Healthy Way to Relieve Stress
Whether you're strumming an acoustic tune or rocking out on electric, playing guitar offers a creative outlet that helps relieve stress. It’s a great way to unwind and express yourself—no matter your age or experience level.

4. Builds Real Confidence Through Progress
From the first chord to full songs, guitar students experience tangible growth. Each small success builds confidence, perseverance, and a sense of pride—skills that carry over into everyday life.

5. Connects You to a Musical Community
Our private and group classes offer the best of both worlds. Learn one-on-one at your own pace, or join a small group where you'll grow alongside other players in a supportive, social setting. Either way, you'll gain encouragement, inspiration, and connection.
