āāāā About the Role
Part-time · In person in Ocala, FL
We're looking for a guitar teacher who loves helping students of all ages find the music they want to play. You'll teach acoustic, electric and bass guitar and ukulele in private lessons for ages 5 to adult, and you may also lead one of our music groups, like our Video Game guitar group.
Also hiring substitutes: if you can't commit to a weekly schedule, we're also building a list of on-call guitar subs we can contact when a teacher is out.
Schedule: lessons run Monday through Friday during studio hours. Tell us which days and times you’re available, and we’ll build your schedule from there. Saturday availability is a big plus as we launch Saturday programs.
You'll be a great fit if you have:āāā

Verified teaching experience, or a formal music education or private training background

Strong guitar skills (bass and/or ukulele a plus)

Patience with beginners and the flexibility to teach many styles, from rock and worship to video game music

Reliability and punctuality, and the ability to pass a background checkāā

š Location: Lessons are taught in-person at our Ocala studio (virtual may be available upon request).
